Al-Atoum emphasized the benefits of breast milk for infants, including increasing immunity, reducing the incidence of lung and intestinal infections and middle ear infections, and reducing the risk of obesity in children, in addition to the benefits for the nursing mother. Dr. Al-Atoum discussed also many other axes, most notably the common reasons that hinder the breastfeeding, and the appropriate solutions for it.
