Prof. Moawia Khatatbeh
Dr. Moawiah Khatatbeh is a Professor of Public Health at Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Nursing (2004) from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and obtained his Master degree in Public Health from the same university in 2006. Prof. Khatatbeh received his PhD in Public Health from Curtin University, Australia in 2013. Prof. Khatatbeh was appointed to the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at Yarmouk University in 2014 as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Full Professor in 2023. He is also a certified Fellow in Research Ethics Conduct via an Adjunct Diploma program between University of California-San Diego and Jordan University of Science and Technology. Prof. Khatatbeh has served as an associate editor for the journal of Public Health, and has supervised many master degree students. He is an active Global Burden Of Diseases (GBD) collaborator since 2022 and has co-authored about 20 GBD research papers. Prof. Khatatbeh has published about 70 peer-reviewed research papers (h-index = 25; i10- index = 36; Aug 2024). For his research efforts he was listed in the World Top 2% researchers list released by Stanford University in 2023.

Dr. Reema Karasneh
Dr. Reema Karasneh, an accomplished Associate Professor in Epidemiology and Public Health, completed her Ph.D. in Medicine (Public Health) at Queen's University, Belfast, UK, in 2017 and earned a fellowship in Responsible Conduct of Research from the University of California San Diego and Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2019. Her academic journey includes a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2010 and a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences from the same institution in 2003.
Currently, Dr. Karasneh holds the prestigious role of Chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Yarmouk University, where she is also a founding member. In the academic year 2022-2023, she served as the Chair of the Basic Medical Sciences department at the Faculty of Medicine.
With a notable Scopus profile boasting 62 publications, 688 citations, and an h-index of 13, Dr. Karasneh has made significant strides in research. Her work involves utilizing clinical and population data at both national and international levels to assess substantial components, risk factors, and determinants of health. Moreover, she has a keen interest in ethical clinical practice and responsible research conduct, evident in her multiple published research projects in the field.
Dr. Karasneh is actively engaged as a researcher and coordinator at The International Clinical Practice Research Unit (ICPRU), fostering collaborative efforts between healthcare professionals and researchers globally. Her extensive research, teaching, and service contributions span various areas, including the morbidity and mortality burdens of diseases, e-health, populations' health promotion, disease prevention, and biomedical ethics. Methodologically, Dr. Karasneh demonstrates expertise in the secondary analysis of real-world healthcare data (e.g., prescription drug records, electronic health records), observational study designs, and systematic reviews and meta-analysis. Her comprehensive approach includes proficiency in scale development, survey research, and a skillful integration of quantitative and qualitative methods in her studies. Dr. Reema Karasneh's dedication to advancing public health knowledge and promoting ethical research practices establishes her as a prominent and influential figure in academia and research.

Dr. Ola Soudah
Dr. Ola Soudah- holds a Ph.D. in clinical sciences with a focus on translational epidemiology, applied biostatistics, patient-centered care, and health services research. She earned her doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch, USA, in Oct. 2018. Her dissertation research explored the impact of diabetes on cognitive decline among the elderly using Health and Retirement Study data (HRS). Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Soudah obtained a BA in clinical laboratory sciences in 2005 and an MS in molecular diagnostics and human genetics in 2009.
Currently, Dr. Soudah serves as an assistant professor of community and public health at Yarmouk University- Faculty of Medicine. She has incorporated her expertise in teaching medical students research methodology, medical statistics, epidemiology, public health, principles of health prevention and promotion programs, and healthcare management. Her research focuses on assessing community health outcomes, digital solutions for the tobacco epidemic, and accessibility to healthcare among refugees. She is a member of the Yarmouk University IRB committee for Human Research Integrity and a co-director of the Medical Research Office at the Faculty of Medicine to support medical students in their research projects.
