Dr. Hiba Alzoubi is an Assistant Professor of pathology in the Department of Pathological Sciences at Yarmouk University. Her research focuses on medical education and on the histopathological and molecular characterization of various cancers and diseases. Dr. Mutaz Dwairy is an Assistant Professor with joint appointments in the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Yarmouk University. He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, where his research focused on developing biomechanical models to study the behavior of growing solid tumors. His research interests include Cancer Mechanics, Computational Biology, Modeling and Simulation of Biological and Clinical Systems, and Oncological Imaging.
Dr. Rashed Saleem Shatnawi is an Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine at Yarmouk University. A forensic pathologist and forensic anthropologist by training, he specializes in postmortem interval estimation, age and sex estimation, and ancestry analysis, blending traditional forensic methods with advanced computational tools like AI and machine learning. Dr. Shatnawi has published on topics such as child abuse, suicide, and drowning, and his recent work incorporates machine learning into 3D geometric morphometric analysis studies to improve forensic identification processes.
