The goals of SRO
To organize, supervise, and monitor medical students’ graduation research projects.
To support medical students in finding mentors and building up a research portfolio.
To serve as a repository for tracking medical students’ graduation projects.
To assist medical students in finding the needed resources and provide the necessary infrastructure to complete their scholarly projects.
To guide and facilitate all research-related processes from proposal development, IRB approval, and fund applications.
To advance research skills for medical students and faculty members through education, training programs, and extra-curricular activities.
To develop research competencies teamwork, communication skills, and professionalism.
To help students in manuscript writing and publishing their work.
To promote multi-disciplinary research teams and build a network with other schools and universities.
Continuously evaluating and developing the MRO.
