Welcome to the official website of the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University. The Faculty of Medicine was established in accordance with the decision of the Higher Education Council in 2013 and the first batch of students was accepted at the beginning of the academic year 2013/2014. This came in response to the increasing need for all medical sectors recently as a result of the conditions of the region and the forced migration of its people and the rapid increase in population numbers. 

The college has taken it upon itself to have a strong beginning on the right basis by applying the latest scientific knowledge in the field of medical education and scientific research. In order to achieve this, It has appointed a number of highly qualified professors from inside and outside the Kingdom and in all medical specialties. 

The college has also concluded a number of academic agreements with local and international universities to exchange experiences and faculty members, in addition to an agreement with central and peripheral hospitals for the clinical training of students. Moreover, the University has sent a number of distinguished students and doctors to prestigious universities and international centers to obtain higher academic degrees in all medical specialties

 Our college in its new building which has been built according to the latest levels of specifications is equipped with the latest technologies as to its laboratories and classrooms to suit the level of practical and educational outputs of students as well as the research outcomes of the faculty members. The college has also designed the laboratory of skills and clinical simulation, which is one of the most modern laboratories in the Kingdom and the region.
