In line with its pioneering and active role in advancing medical education, and believing in the importance of keeping up with the latest teaching methods, including the use of simulation, the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University organized, on the sidelines of the International Conference on Simulation in Medical Education (ICSME), two specialized training workshops on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
The first workshop was titled: "Fundamentals of Simulation in Medical Education," presented by Dr. Marc Lazarovici, Director of the Emergency Medicine Simulation Center at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU Munich), Germany.
The second workshop was titled: "Applications of Simulation in Medical Education," presented by Professor Abdulaziz Bokker, a global expert in simulation and Medical Director of King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Bara'a Tayeb, Director of the Simulation Center at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia.
The workshops were held at the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University, with wide participation from faculty and technical staff from various public and private medical schools in Jordan.
The workshops saw a great deal of interaction and a warm welcome from the attendees, as they provided unique scientific value and high practical benefit.
The participants expressed their deep appreciation for the efforts of the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University, wishing it continued progress and excellence, and the continued organization of such meaningful scientific events.
