The Pediatrics Interest Group – Faculty of Medicine, Yarmouk University, under the supervision of Dr. Aseel Gharaibeh, has participated in the successful launch of its first Journal Club session on Wednesday, 10/09/2025, held as part of the High Specialization Program’s academic activities, in collaboration with Irbid Specialty Hospital.
The session was presented by Dr. Ola Jdayeh (Pediatrics Resident) and mentored by Dr. Ali El-Halabi (Pediatric Cardiologist).
We discussed the article:
“Canadian Cardiovascular Society and Canadian Pediatric Cardiology Association Position Statement on the Approach to Syncope in the Pediatric Patient.”

The session was attended by enthusiastic medical students who are interested in pediatrics, and the discussions were both rich and informative.
