With greater pride, the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University announces the decision of the Council of the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission to approve the placement of the qualification “Doctor of Medicine Degree Program” / Yarmouk University in the seventh level of the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Jumana Al-Sulaiman, confirmed that achieving this achievement comes as a result of the diligent and continuous work undertaken by the Faculty of Medicine to improve the quality and reputation of the “Doctor of Medicine” program, as an achievement formulated by the Faculty family, including the members of the teaching and administrative staff and students, to review the program files and complete the placement process.
Dr. Al-Sulaiman explained that accommodating this program ensures its conformity with the highest required national standards, and achieves quality in learning outcomes, which enables the Faculty to apply for specialized accreditations for each level of students’ educational achievement in an official manner to ensure recognition of the skills, knowledge, and competencies that the student has acquired in various universities in the manner itself.
The Dean indicated that this “placement” is in the interest of the Faculty’s students and graduates, and enhances the Faculty’s academic reputation, and increases the demand for the program that is compatible with the approved standards, in addition it will ensure the presence of an advanced reference for the Faculty and faculty members to review and develop the program and improve academic and professional performance.
