The completion of the local scientific competition for clinical stage students, and the winning team will represent our medical school in the national competition

On Wednesday, Jan. 25th, 2023, the second and final stage of the local scientific competition for clinical stage students, organized by the Medical Club, took place under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Manar Al-Lawama, and in the presence of the  Dean Assistant for Examinations and Evaluation Dr. Asmaa’ Al-Mnayyes. The activity was under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Akram Awwad.
 
 
 The winner team was team (B) represented by the students; A'amer Khalid Abu-hmaid - sixth year, Abdullah Abdul-Monem Ananzeh - fifth year and Hala Riyad Qazaq- fourth year.
 
 
 
The first stage of the competition was a written exam for individual medical students , the first four runners from each clinical academic years qualified for the second stage (The oral exam) that took place today. Four teams were formed, each included a student from each clinical year (three students a team).
The oral exam phase was divided into four chapters progressed in difficulty and ranged in different specialties of medicine, Where points were rewarded for right answers and points deducted for wrong answers. The winner team qualified to represent FM/YU in the national scientific competition where all faculties of medicine in Jordan compete.
 
 
 
The competition was fierce among the four teams, and the level of the students reflected an impressive image of our students and a model that our school is proud of. 
The organizing committee consisted of: Dr. Mo'taz Al-Zoubi one of our graduates in FM/YU
 Emad Al-Zoubi - The head of the medical Club- A 5th year student
Hamzah O'toom - A 5th year student
Forat O'moosh - A 5th year student
Tariq Al-Husban- A 5th year student
The committee established regulations that mimic the ones applied in the national competition and prepared clinical cases questions from all medical specialties in the same level of the questions given in the national competition.
 
 
 
We wish the best for the qualified team in the national competition and we hope a good luck to all students participated in the local competition.
