Dr. Suhair Qudsieh, the consultant in obstetrics and gynecology, and the assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Medical Sciences (CMS); attended the event organized by the Refugees, Displaced Persons and Forced Migration Studies Center at Yarmouk University on the occasion of World Refugee Day, where a distinguished documentary film entitled “Mr Tanimoto’s Journey” was shown. The film talks about the story of identity and homeland,
The event was under the auspices of Prof. Islam Massad, The President of Yarmouk University.
Dr. Jesse Dizard, the director of the film and the professor of visual anthropology in the California State University and a visiting Professor in Anthropology deaprtment@ YU attended the event. After the showing the documentary film, a discussion took place between the audience and Dr. Dizard, the director.
The center will hold a special activity on Wednesday June 22nd, 2022, which is a workshop focusing in refugee affairs.
It is worth noting that Dr. Suhair Qudsieh is a member of the Refugee and Displaced ones Studies Center at the university and her membership comes as a contribution to serving the local community.
