The Faculty of Medicine organized a medical seminar on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day entitled “Autism: Between Awareness and Challenges”, in collaboration with the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the Jordanian Autism Society, and King Abdullah University Hospital.

A group of distinguished academics and specialists delivered insightful lectures that shed light on the fundamentals of Autism Spectrum Disorder from medical, educational, and behavioral perspectives, with a focus on debunking some of the common misconceptions in society about the disorder.

The seminar also highlighted some of the challenges faced by families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder when seeking any form of healthcare services.
