The Microbiology laboratory is a major laboratory in the Faculty of Medicine. It was designed for the purpose of applying a set of techniques that include cultivation, examination, identification, and growth control of various microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, and others.

This laboratory serves faculty members for research purposes and it is a mainstay for teaching medical students the practical part of Microbiology courses.
