OSCE exams Wards
The OSCE exam (objective and structured clinical exam) is a clinical exam carefully designed to measure the clinical skills of the applicant for the exam, so that the student is exposed to a clinical case of a patient or a well-trained person to present the clinical case to the student. Medical students take this exam in the four major clinical courses (General surgery, Internal medicine, Obs. & Gynecology and Pediatrics) at the end of the course. On the campus of the Faculty of Medicine, there are two wings established for this exam, containing a number of rooms in which the examiners discuss clinical cases and evaluate the student while examining the patient clinically. It also contains waiting rooms for students who are preparing to enter the exam.
The Faculty hosts external examiners from various medical sectors in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Ministry of Health, Royal Medical Services, the private sector and sister faculties of medicine) and also hosts external examiners from outside the Kingdom to participate in the evaluation of students
The first OSCE ward is on the ground floor near the front gate of the Faculty campus.
The second OSCE ward is on the ground floor near the back gate of the Faculty campus.
