Hello! I am Ghosson Otoom, a 6th-year medical student at Yarmouk University (YU). Through an affiliation between Yarmouk University and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), I was selected to complete my elective training in the pediatric endocrinology and pediatric allergy immunology departments. During this invaluable experience, I engaged with a diverse patient population and collaborated with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This hands-on training significantly enhanced my clinical skills, as I actively participated in patient assessments, developed treatment plans, presented cases, and gave seminars. I was entrusted with substantial responsibilities that allowed me to apply my knowledge in real-world scenarios. This immersive experience deepened my understanding of pediatric medicine and reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in this field. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my university and the dean of the college for providing me with this incredible opportunity.
