شاركت كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك في حملة التبرع بالدم التي نظّمتها كلية القانون، بالتعاون مع عمادة شؤون الطلبة وجمعية بصمة أمل الخيرية، دعماً لمرضى السرطان، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 21/4/2026 أمام عمادة شؤون الطلبة في حرم الجامعة.

وجاءت مشاركة الكلية انطلاقاً من دورها الإنساني والمجتمعي، وحرصها على دعم المبادرات التطوعية التي تسهم في خدمة المرضى وتعزيز التكافل المجتمعي، لا سيما مرضى السرطان الذين يحتاجون إلى دعم مستمر.

وقد جرى التنسيق لمشاركة كلية الطب، حيث شارك في الحملة من شعبة طب الأسرة كل من الدكتورة دينا قعدان والدكتورة هديل هيلات، إلى جانب مشاركة إدارية من ديوان الكلية متمثلة بـالسيدة هناء زيدان، وكذلك مشرفة المختبر السيدة أماني كساسبة، الذين كان لهم دور فاعل في إنجاح الفعالية.

وشهدت الحملة إقبالاً جيداً من الطلبة وأعضاء الهيئتين التدريسية والإدارية، في مشهد يعكس روح التعاون والمسؤولية المجتمعية التي تتميز بها أسرة جامعة اليرموك.

وتؤكد كلية الطب استمرارها في دعم مثل هذه المبادرات الإنسانية التي تعزز قيم العطاء والعمل التطوعي لدى الطلبة، وتسهم في خدمة المجتمع المحلي.

The Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University participated in a blood donation campaign organized by the Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and Basmat Amal Charitable Society, in support of cancer patients. The campaign took place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in front of the Deanship of Student Affairs on the university campus.

The Faculty’s participation stemmed from its humanitarian and community-oriented role, as well as its commitment to supporting voluntary initiatives that serve patients and promote social solidarity, particularly cancer patients who require continuous support.

Coordination was carried out to ensure the Faculty of Medicine’s participation. Representing the Family Medicine Division were Dr. Dina Qaadan and Dr. Hadeel Heilat, in addition to administrative participation from the Faculty’s office, represented by Ms. Hanaa Zaidan, as well as laboratory supervisor Ms. Amani Ksasbeh. Their contributions played a significant role in the success of the event.

The campaign witnessed good participation from students and members of both the academic and administrative staff, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and social responsibility that characterizes the Yarmouk University community.

The Faculty of Medicine reaffirms its continued support for such humanitarian initiatives that promote the values of giving and volunteerism among students and contribute to serving the local community.

عقدت كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك وبالشراكة مع مركز الأميرة بسمة لدراسات المرأة الأردنية فعالية توعوية بمناسبة الشهر العالمي للتوعية بسرطان عنق الرحم، وذلك يوم الأحد الموافق 25-1-2026، بهدف رفع مستوى الوعي الصحي لدى المجتمع الجامعي بأهمية الوقاية والكشف المبكر.

ويُعد هذا النشاط باكورة أنشطة مجموعة الطلبة المهتمين بتخصص النسائية والتوليد في كلية الطب، في إطار دعم الجامعة للمبادرات الطلابية الهادفة وتعزيز الاهتمام بالتخصصات الطبية.

وجرت الفعالية بحضور عميدة كلية الطب الدكتورة جمانة السليمان، ومديرة مركز الأميرة بسمة لدراسات المرأة الأردنية الدكتورة بتول المحيسن، ونُظمت الفعالية بإشراف الدكتورة إيمان الشديفات، مشرفة مجموعة الطلبة المهتمين بتخصص النسائية والتوليد في كلية الطب.

وتم خلال الفعالية استضافة كلٍّ من:
• الأستاذ الدكتور عامر سندياني، استشاري أورام النساء من كلية الطب – جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية / مستشفى الملك المؤسس عبد الله الجامعي.
• الدكتور خالد سوالمة، استشاري علم الأمراض من كلية الطب – جامعة اليرموك.

وقد قدّم المحاضران محاضرات علمية متخصصة تناولت أحدث المستجدات المتعلقة بسرطان عنق الرحم، وسبل الوقاية منه، وأهمية الفحوصات الدورية والتشخيص المبكر في تقليل معدلات الإصابة والوفيات.

وشهدت الفعالية حضورًا لافتًا من أعضاء الهيئتين التدريسية والإدارية، والطالبات، حيث تخللها نقاش علمي وتفاعل إيجابي، عكس اهتمام الجامعة بدورها التوعوي والمجتمعي في تعزيز صحة المرأة.

وتأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن جهود كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك المستمرة في دعم المبادرات الصحية والتوعوية والأنشطة الطلابية، وتعزيز ثقافة الوقاية والكشف المبكر، انسجامًا مع رسالتها في خدمة المجتمع.

The Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University, in partnership with the Princess Basma Center for Jordanian Women's Studies, held an awareness event on the occasion of World Cervical Cancer Awareness Month on Sunday, January 25, 2026, with the aim of raising health awareness within the university community about the importance of prevention and early detection.

This activity is the first of its kind organized by the student group interested in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, reflecting the University’s support for meaningful student initiatives and its commitment to promoting interest in medical specialties.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Jumana Al-Sulaiman, and the Director of the Princess Basma Center for Jordanian Women's Studies, Dr. Batool Al-Muhaisen. It was organized under the supervision of Dr. Eman Al-Shdaifat, supervisor of the student group interested in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine.

The event featured presentations by:
• Professor Dr. Amer Sindiani, Consultant Gynecologic Oncologist from the Faculty of Medicine, Jordan University of Science and Technology / King Abdullah University Hospital.
• Dr. Khaled Sawalmeh, Consultant Pathologist from the Faculty of Medicine, Yarmouk University.

Both speakers delivered specialized scientific lectures covering the latest developments related to cervical cancer, methods of prevention, and the importance of regular screenings and early diagnosis in reducing incidence and mortality rates.

The event drew a notable turnout from faculty, staff, and students, and featured a scientific discussion and positive interaction that reflected the University’s commitment to its educational and community role in promoting women’s health.

This event is part of the ongoing efforts of the Yarmouk University Faculty of Medicine to support health and awareness initiatives and student activities, while promoting a culture of prevention and early detection, in line with its mission of serving the community.

ضمن رؤية ومسؤولية كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك بتقديم دور فاعل وإيجابي في المجتمع المحلي، أقامت مبادرة العيادة المتنقلة في كلية الطب (جايين لعندك) اليوم الطبي المجاني الأول للعام الجامعي 2025-2026 في مركز الفاروق الطبي التابع لجمعية الفاروق الخيرية في مخيم الشهيد عزمي المفتي، وذلك يوم الأربعاء الموافق 7/1/2026.

وتميز اليوم بإقبال كبير من المرضى في مختلف العيادات والتي شملت تخصصات: النسائية والتوليد، الباطني، الغدد الصماء، جراحة العظام، الأنف والأذن والحنجرة، الجلدية والأطفال.

وقد شارك في هذا اليوم كل من: الدكتورة سها البيتاوي، الدكتورة دينا قعدان، الدكتور غيداء عبابنة، الدكتور محمد أكرم، الدكتور خالد سيتان، الدكتور محمود طناش والدكتور مهدي الشبول، والزميلة الإدارية السيدة دعاء غمش، إلى جانب مجموعة من الطلبة.

وقد أبدت إدارة المركز عميق التقدير والشكر لكادر الكلية، وتطلعت إلى مزيد من التعاون وتنظيم أيام مماثلة في المستقبل القريب.

In line with the vision and responsibility of the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University to actively participate in the local community, the Mobile Clinic Initiative at the Faculty of Medicine (“We’re Coming to You”) organized the first free medical day of the 2025–2026 academic year at Al-Farouq Medical Center, affiliated with Al-Farouq Charity Association, in Martyr Azmi Al-Mufti Camp, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

The day witnessed a large turnout of patients across various clinics, which included the following specialties: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Orthopedic Surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Dermatology, and Pediatrics.

Several members of the faculty staff participated in this medical day, including Dr. Suha Al-Beitawi, Dr. Dina Qaadan, Dr. Ghaidaa Ababneh, Dr. Mohammad Akram, Dr. Khaled Setan, Dr. Mahmoud Tanash, and Dr. Mahdi Al-Shboul, along with the administrative colleague Ms. Doaa Ghamsh and a group of students.

The center’s administration expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to the faculty staff and looked forward to further cooperation and organizing similar medical days in the near future.

أقامت كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك حملة توعوية في رحاب جامعة اليرموك حول زراعة الأعضاء، وذلك ضمن مبادرة "جسدي حياة"، يوم الخميس الموافق 26/3/2026.

وقد شارك في الحملة عدد من طلبة الكلية، تحت إشراف كل من الدكتورة سها البيتاوي، والدكتورة وداد الدولات، والدكتور قيس السعدي.

The Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University organized an awareness campaign on organ transplantation on campus, as part of the “My Body is Life” initiative, on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

The campaign involved the participation of a number of medical students under the supervision of Dr. Suha Al-Baitawi, Dr. Wedad Al-Doulat, and Dr. Qais Sa'di.

نفذت كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك بالتعاون مع جمعية التكافل الخيرية ومركزها الصحي في مدينة الرمثا يوم الاثنين الموافق 23/2/2026 يومًا طبيًا مجانيًا شاملًا، وذلك ضمن سلسلة نشاطات العيادة المتنقلة “طب اليرموك جايين لعندك” لخدمة المجتمع المحلي وتعزيز المسؤولية الصحية خلال شهر رمضان المبارك.

تأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار شراكات الجامعة مع المؤسسات الصحية والوطنية، وانسجامًا مع رسالة جامعة اليرموك وكلية الطب في تعزيز قيم التطوع والمسؤولية تجاه المجتمع المحلي، وحرصها الدائم على تقديم خدمات صحية وتوعوية متميزة بكل مهنية وإنسانية لسكان المنطقة.

وقد شهد اليوم الطبي إقبالًا كبيرًا من المواطنين، حيث استفاد المراجعون من الاستشارات الطبية المجانية والفحوصات الأساسية وصرف الأدوية الضرورية مجانًا، إضافةً إلى محاضرات توعوية قدمتها الدكتورة دينا قعدان والطالبة رانيا ذينات من طلبة كلية الطب، وتناولت إرشادات صحية حول الصيام والأمراض المزمنة والطريقة المثلى لاستخدام الأدوية خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، إلى جانب الإرشاد الصحي والتثقيف الغذائي المباشر للمراجعين.

وشارك في تقديم الاستشارات الطبية في عيادات الاختصاص أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية من كادر كلية الطب – جامعة اليرموك من مختلف التخصصات، وهم: د. محمد المقابلة ود. هديل هيلات (طب الأسرة)، د. ولاء القضاة (طب الأطفال)، د. سهير قدسية (النسائية والتوليد)، د. وداد دولات (العيون)، د. محمد الزعبي (المسالك البولية)، د. أسيل الصغير (أمراض الكلى)، ود. أسماء المنيص (الأشعة). كما شارك الدكتور معاذ براسنة، أخصائي أمراض القلب، بصفة متطوّع من خارج الكلية دعمًا للمبادرة وتلبيةً لاحتياجات المرضى.

كما ساهمت كلٌّ من السيدة هناء زيدان والسيدة سحر أبوعفونة من الكادر الإداري في الكلية في متابعة الجوانب الإدارية والتنظيمية، إضافةً إلى جمع التغذية الراجعة من المراجعين حول مستوى رضاهم عن الخدمات الصحية المقدمة.

وشهدت الفعالية أيضًا مشاركة فاعلة من طلبة كلية الطب من مختلف السنوات الدراسية، بمن فيهم أعضاء المجموعة الطلابية المهتمة بأمراض القلب، وذلك تحت إشراف الدكتورة هبة الزعبي، حيث أسهموا في تنظيم سير العمل واستقبال المراجعين، وشاركوا في العيادات إلى جانب أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية وتحت إشرافهم المباشر.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص الكلية على دمج طلبتها في الأنشطة المجتمعية التطبيقية، وتعزيز قيم العمل التطوعي لديهم، وإتاحة الفرصة لاكتساب الخبرة العملية التي تسهم في صقل شخصياتهم المهنية وإعدادهم ليكونوا أطباء المستقبل القادرين على خدمة مجتمعهم بكفاءة ومسؤولية.

وتتقدم كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك بجزيل الشكر والتقدير لكل من أسهم في إنجاح هذا اليوم الطبي من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والطلبة والمتطوعين والشركاء المجتمعيين، مثمنةً تعاونهم وجهودهم في تجسيد رسالة الجامعة في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز الصحة العامة.

The Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University, in cooperation with Al-Takaful Charitable Society and its Health Center in Al-Ramtha, organized a comprehensive free medical day on Monday, 23/2/2026. The event was held as part of the mobile clinic initiative “Yarmouk Medicine – We Come to You”, aimed at serving the local community and promoting health responsibility during the holy month of Ramadan.

This initiative comes within the framework of the University’s partnerships with national health institutions and reflects the mission of Yarmouk University and its Faculty of Medicine in promoting the values of volunteerism and social responsibility, as well as their continuous commitment to providing distinguished health and awareness services with professionalism and compassion to the local community.

The medical day witnessed a large turnout of beneficiaries, who received free medical consultations, basic diagnostic tests, and essential medications at no cost. In addition, awareness lectures were delivered by Dr. Dina Qaadan and medical student Rania Dhinat, addressing health guidance on fasting, chronic diseases, and the optimal use of medications during Ramadan, alongside direct health counseling and nutritional education for attendees.

Medical consultations across various specialties were provided by faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine – Yarmouk University, including: Dr. Mohammad Al-Mogableh and Dr. Hadeel Heilat (Family Medicine), Dr. Walaa Al-Qudah (Pediatrics), Dr. Suhair Qudsieh (Obstetrics and Gynecology), Dr. Wedad Al-Dolat (Ophthalmology), Dr. Mohammad Al-Zu’bi (Urology), Dr. Aseel Zghayer (Nephrology), and Dr. Asma'a Al-Mnayyis (Radiology). Dr. Moath Barasneh, a cardiologist, also participated voluntarily from outside the Faculty in support of the initiative and to help meet patients’ needs.

In addition, Ms. Hanaa Zaidan and Ms. Sahar Abu Afouna from the Faculty’s administrative staff contributed by overseeing administrative and organizational matters and collecting feedback from beneficiaries regarding their satisfaction with the healthcare services provided.

The event also featured active participation from medical students across different academic years, including members of the student group interested in cardiovascular diseases, under the supervision of Dr. Heba Al-Zu’bi. Students helped organize workflow, receive patients, and participate in clinic activities alongside faculty members under their direct supervision.

This participation reflects the Faculty’s commitment to integrating students into applied community activities, strengthening their spirit of volunteerism, and providing practical experience that refines their professional skills and prepares them to become future physicians capable of serving their community with competence and responsibility.

The Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University extends its sincere appreciation to all faculty members, students, volunteers, and community partners who contributed to the success of this medical day, valuing their cooperation and efforts in embodying the University’s mission of community service and the promotion of public health.

تحت رعاية عمادة كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك، أقام مشروع علمي علمان لقاء ملتقى الوقار؛ وذلك لتكريم طالبات وطبيبات من خريجات الكلية ممن أتممن حفظ كتاب الله.

حضر اللقاء الدكتورة مريم العمري نائب العميد، والدكتورة سها البيتاوي مساعد العميد للبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع، والدكتورة فاطمة المحاسنة رئيسة قسم علم الأمراض، والدكتورة هبة الزعبي.

وتخلل اللقاء فقرات ابتدأت بالتعريف عن المبادرة ومن ثم ختمة للقرآن تبعها تكريم الحافظات وجلسة حوارية مع الحافظات وهن:
- الحافظة: الدكتورة آيه موسى أبو العنّاز
- الحافظة: الدكتورة رند أحمد الزيوت
- الحافظة: الطالبة نبأ شادي الأحمد
- الحافظة: الطالبة ساجدة أحمد الأطرش

Under the patronage of the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University, the Ilman Scientific Project held the Al-Waqar Forum gathering to honor female students and physicians from the Faculty’s graduates who have completed memorizing the Holy Qur’an.

The event was attended by Dr. Maryam Al-Omari, Vice Dean; Dr. Suha Al-Baytawi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Research and Community Service; Dr. Fatimah Al-Mahasneh, Head of the Department of Pathology; and Dr. Heba Al-Zoubi.

The gathering included several segments, beginning with an introduction to the initiative, followed by a Qur’an recitation, then honoring the memorizers and holding a dialogue session with them. The honored memorizers were:
- Dr. Aya Mousa Abu Al-Annaz
- Dr. Rand Ahmad Al-Zyout
- Student Naba Shadi Al-Ahmad
- Student Sajidah Ahmad Al-Atrash

وقدّمت الورشة الدكتورة ريما كراسنة، وذلك يوم الخميس الموافق 26/3/2026.

وتميزت الورشة بمحتواها العلمي القيّم والتطبيقات العملية المباشرة، كما لاقت تفاعلاً من قبل أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والطلبة.

As part of the activities aimed at developing research skills among faculty members and students, the Scientific Research Office at the Faculty of Medicine organized a workshop entitled:
Structured Critical Appraisal and Peer Review of Scientific Research

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Rima Karasneh on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

The workshop was distinguished by its valuable scientific content and direct practical applications, and it witnessed active engagement from faculty members and students.

نظمت كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك ورشة تدريبية لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والمدرسين السريرين من وزارة الصحة والخدمات الطبية الملكية والقطاع الخاص حول بناء القدرات للمدرسين السريرين ضمن ورشة: Capacity Building for Clinical Preceptors Workshop.

جاءت الورشة ضمن مشروع بناء القدرات للمدرسين السريرين (Capacity Building for Clinical Preceptors) والممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي.

استمرت الورشة لمدة يومين، وتضمنت تدريباً عملياً على أهم المهارات في التدريس السريري.

قدم الورشة مدربون من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية من كلية طب اليرموك ممن تلقوا تدريباً مكثفاً لإعداد المدربين (TOT) من خلال المشروع، وهم: د. أسيل غرايبة، د. أنس الجيوسي، د. دينا قعدان، د. سها البيتاوي، د. قيس السعدي، د. محمد الزعبي، ود. هديل هيلات.

يذكر أن هذا المشروع قائم بالشراكة بين كليات الطب في الجامعات الأردنية الحكومية الستة، وجامعة مينو في البرتغال، وجامعة باتراس في اليونان، وقد شارك زملاء من جامعة مينو في حضور الورشة.

لقت الورشة تفاعلاً كبيراً وتقديراً من الحضور. وأشادت عميدة الكلية الدكتورة جمانة السليمان بأهمية هذه الأنشطة التي تسهم في ازدهار التعليم الطبي وتعزيز التعاون بين مختلف القطاعات الطبية التعليمية المحلية والدولية، كما أثنت على جهود المدربين واختتمت الورشة بتوزيع الشهادات على المشاركين.

وستسعى كلية الطب إلى عقد مزيد من هذه الورشات لتمكين أكبر عدد ممكن من المدرسين السريرين ضمن رؤيتها في التطوير المهني المستمر.

The Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University organized a training workshop for faculty members and clinical instructors from the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services, and the private sector on capacity building for clinical preceptors: Capacity Building for Clinical Preceptors Workshop.

The workshop was held as part of the Capacity Building for Clinical Preceptors project, funded by the European Union.

The workshop lasted for two days and included hands-on training focused on the most important skills in clinical teaching.

The workshop was delivered by trainers from the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University who had received intensive Training of Trainers (TOT) preparation through the project. The trainers included: Dr. Aseel Gharaibeh, Dr. Anas Al-Jaioussi, Dr. Dina Qa‘dan, Dr. Soha Al-Beitawi, Dr. Qais Al-Sa‘di, Dr. Mohammad Al-Zoubi, and Dr. Hadeel Hailat.

This project is implemented in partnership between the Faculties of Medicine at the six public Jordanian universities, the University of Minho in Portugal, and the University of Patras in Greece. Colleagues from the University of Minho also attended the workshop.

The workshop received strong engagement and appreciation from participants. The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Jumana Al-Suleiman, emphasized the importance of such activities in advancing medical education and strengthening collaboration among local and international medical education sectors. She also praised the efforts of the trainers and concluded the workshop by distributing certificates to the participants.

The Faculty of Medicine will continue to organize similar workshops in the future to empower the largest possible number of clinical instructors, in line with its vision for continuous professional development.

أطلقت كلية الطب في جامعة اليرموك، يوم الاثنين الموافق (22/12/2025)، فعالية انطلاقة مجموعة الطلبة المهتمين بتخصص النسائية والتوليد.

وذلك بمشاركة عدد من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والإدارية، إضافة إلى حضور واسع من طلبة كلية الطب من مختلف المراحل الدراسية.

وهدفت فعالية الانطلاقة إلى التعريف بالمجموعة ورؤيتها وأهدافها، وتسليط الضوء على الأنشطة العلمية والتوعوية التي تعتزم تنفيذها خلال الفترة المقبلة، إلى جانب تعزيز التواصل وبناء بيئة أكاديمية داعمة للطلبة المهتمين بتخصص النسائية والتوليد.

وفي ختام الفعالية، عبّر الطلبة عن اهتمامهم الكبير بالمجموعة وأنشطتها، حيث قام عدد منهم بتعبئة استمارة الانتساب، في أجواء إيجابية تعكس حرص الكلية على دعم المبادرات الطلابية العلمية الهادفة.

On Monday, December 22, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University launched the inaugural event for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Interest Student Group (OBG IG).

The event was attended by several faculty and administrative staff members, as well as a large number of medical students from various academic years.

The inaugural event aimed to introduce the group, its vision, and its objectives, and to highlight the scientific and awareness-raising activities it plans to implement in the coming period. It also aimed to foster communication and build a supportive academic environment for students interested in obstetrics and gynecology.

At the conclusion of the event, students expressed their keen interest in the group and its activities. Several students filled out membership forms in a positive atmosphere that reflects the Faculty’s commitment to supporting impactful student scientific initiatives.
