The DCS is concerned with teaching and clinical training of undergraduate medical students in different clinical disciplines starting from the third up to the sixth year of their study. These disciplines include clinical psychology, community medicine, clinical and communication skills, general surgery, general internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine and primary health care, psychiatry, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), orthopedics, anesthesia, neurosciences, ophthalmology, dermatology, diagnostic radiology, and forensic medicine. The teaching is conducted through courses and hospital-based clinical training. The latter is to be conducted at the Ministry of Health and Royal Medical Services hospitals at Irbid and Ajlun. Furthermore, Jordan University of Science and Technology affiliated hospital (The Founder King Hospital) will also be used for this purpose.
